So I started my day with the most delisiouse chunk of Thortons toffee cake (covered with chocolate and lumps of fudge) with a nice hot cup of coffee! Mmmmmmm.....

One World One Heart
I was passing through some blogs when I came across this.....
"One World One Heart is a worldwide event for bloggers only. It gives all those who blog a chance to meet and mingle and form connections with those they may not have otherwise met from all over the world. In the past 4 years this event has grown to over 1,000 participants with lasting friendships (and even one love connection) formed along the way. Think of it as a GIGANTIC open house allowing you to travel without ever leaving your home........going from blog to blog(in various countries) seeing the wonder each one has created and meeting all the fabulous people behind those blogs. As a bonus each blogger participant will offer up a "door prize or prizes"....just for dropping by, saying hello and seeing their world. It's really that easy."
....and thought oh that soulds like my kinda thing! I love finding new blogs that I can relate to or that I find intresting and or inspiring and I get to host my first giveaway!
If this soulds like your kinda thing just click on the pic and if i've done it right you should be sent there!
Almost there....
Christmas tree up, presents mostly wrapped (still awaiting delivery of a few items) and time is now flying by!!!
You can tell winters here when every body starts getting sick and unfortunately Mess Maker seem to be getting the worst of it, this month alone shes had projectile vomiting, 9 days of diarrhea and now a cough, cold and temperature, poor thing, but as baby's do shes taking it all in her stride.
Shes been fab with the tree and presents, only redecorating the bottom part of the tree for the first few days it was up (she must be happy with it now) and rearranging but not opening the presents every other day or so!!!

Taking over....
I'm trying very hard not to accumulate masses of jewellery making stuffs and suplies, in fear of taking over the living room (at the moment this looks like it may well be a possibility) So I am trying very hard to use up some of my bead collection before buying any many more (I just remembered I have a couple on order, Oh and there are a few I have seen that I reailly like) So I reailly had better work on some more designs!
This one I have been working on for AGES. It started off as a long necklace but would not sit right so I broke it up and made it into a bracelet (I seem to be going through a bracelet phase at the moment)!
I completly love these flurry beads (by Laura Sparling) but only have 6 left now :(

After some much needed practise at soldering I came up with this....
A very simple swirls necklace to hang this very beautiful lampwork bead (of course by Laura Sparling)
The bead has such a beautiful swirl inside it and is so tactile.

Homemade christmas....
After watching Kristy Homemade Christmas last year (I loved it) I really wanted to do as much homemade stuff as I could this year but alas as always I am soooooo unorganised (I feel a new years resolution in the making)! But so far have at least made these....
These cute little mini pet carrier boxes are my homemade advent calenders for the children! They have assorts of little things in them and some have clues to find the things that would not fit into the boxes. They went down a treat this yesterday morning and tomorrow I'm going to put them some where different so they have to hunt for them.
And finally some homemade gift tags, these have the smallest little crystals on the bows (I had to put some sparkle in somewhere)!
We got very lucky yesterday as it was my other half's day off work so we decided to get Christmas shopping out of the way and would you believe it there was next to no one around (all indoors cowering from the snow no doubt)! It was fantastic not being pushed this way and that not waiting in long cues I loved it! So we are very nearily done on the gift front just a few onliners to get. Just as well because today the kids school is closed and not all the buses are running!
