My weakness is handmade art beads, you know the sort, one of a kind, must buy now or I will never ever have them, strokable, "my precious" beads, and while some of you are looking at my display/storage thinking there is loads of room on there, which of course there is, this is because.....
Quiet a few were put into storage while I have been reorganising my work space and that is not the worst of it....
There is an over stuffed draw too, full of baggies stuffed with crystals, seed beads, roman glass, sea glass, pottery shards, pearls, wooden beads, fossils to name but a few, and even worse then this....
I have even started hoarding components that I have been making, stuff that I have been making to put in my bits of shop but have not quiet got there (and this is only a tiny amount that I had to hand). You know you have a real problem when you are hoarding your own stuff!!!
Now I had huge plans for this wonderful hop hosted by the Amazing Lori Anderson, I wanted to make a beautiful handmade silver chain for an amazing Soul Silver woodland fairy bead that I have or use up some of the many Moogin beads that I have had for ever or even use one of my treasured Anne Choi beads but my muse had other ideas, My muse insisted that make up some thing with my own bits that I have been hoarding and as my muse is a spoilt so and so that often gets her own way....
These lovely hearts were put into this piece....
Which is now my most loved necklace....
I also made this which I also love....
This piece is not quiet finished yet tho, that loop near the focal shall have a beautiful ruby briolet dangling from it, and I WILL make that handmade chain for my beautiful fairy, and use my other hoarded beads, really I will!
