May Year of jewelry project

So I seem to have pretty much given up on the themes but here are my Year of Jewellery makes for May
Week 18 (May 2) - Birthstone of the Month: Emerald (it has green in it?)
This piece was made for the Bead Peps Swap n Hop....

Week 19 (May 9) - My Mom's Favourite Colour (Can't say I know what my mum's favorite colours is!!)

Week 20 (May 16) - The Elements (they came from the earth?)

Week 21 (May 23) - Victoria's Secret (secret locket)

Week 22 (May 30) - Mixed Media (glass by the lovely Jen Cameron of Glass Addictions, peridot and silver)!

April Year of jewelry project

Week 14 (Apr 4) - Birthstone of the Month: Sparkly like a Diamond, well they do sparkle but not a diamond in sight! This pair of earrings were made for a tutorial on Art Jewelry Elements blog.

Week 15 (Apr 11) - The Story of Me, of course coins! This pair of earrings is currently giveaway on the Artisan Designers Jewelry Buy and Sell Facebook group.

Week 16 (Apr 18) - Made of Thick Wire well made of wire but not that thick! This necklace was made for the Art Jewelry Elements component of the month.

Week 17 (Apr 25) - Embrace Nature, wooden bead! And of course this pendent was made for the Bead Peeps blog hop.

A to Z Challenge (things I love)

Here is what I designed and made for The Year of Jewelry Project in March, not managing to stick to the themes any more because the muse has ideas of her own....

Week 10 - Birthstone of the Month: Aquamarine (fail - these are not Aquamarine)!

Princess Tiana Earrings

These are part of my ongoing princess range made from hammered copper, sterling silver, Chrysoprase cabs and lampwork headpins. 

Week 11 - Hinged (fail again - no hinges)!

These were made for a tutorial I wrote for Art Jewelry Elements Simple prong set rough tourmaline  studs, so if you would like to give it a go, head on over to the blog! 

Week 12 - Spring is in the Air (kind of)!

Moss Agate

I suppose it is kind of spring like! A Dennis Hardy wrap pendent, Moss agate wrapped in 2mm copper. I love these stones, they are such beautiful colours and have a wonderful depth to them.

Week 13 - Something I have Never Tried Before

Never made a stamped and sawn lentil bead before so this one fitted the theme!! It was made for the Art Jewelry Elements Hare blog hop!

Febuary Year of jewelry project

Here is what I made for The Year of Jewelry Project in February....

Week six - Birthstone of the Month: Amethyst

This was a commission piece with two birth years and a birthstone requested the front is an english penny 1998 and the back is a 1943 farthing....

Week seven - For My Love

Another commission piece, this one was for a special 30th birthday gift sterling heart with names stamped inside.

Week eight - Ram, Lamb, Ewe

Erm yeah so nothing to do with Ram, lamb or ewe, I got a tad stuck on the one!

Week nine - Masquerade

This was the piece I used for Sally's make a statement blog hop, Oh how I love these head pins!

February slipped away in a mad rush (mostly due to half term I think) and I did not even get round to posting my February giveaway, but worry not lovely people I shall be posting a March one soon, also I am hoping that now things have calmed down I will find some time to finish off some of my unfinished projects and get around to blogging a bit more and guess what? 

The amazingly wonderful Jen Cameron asked if I would like to join the Art Jewelry Elements team so you will see me over there every other Monday, how cool is that, I love the blog and the women are crazy talented!!!! I hope you all have an amazing day xxx
